China’s Excavator Exports Rise In Jan.-April

BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) — China’s major excavator manufacturers reported an increase in exports in the first four months of 2023, industry data showed.

   From January to April, exports of China’s major excavator makers rose 12.2 percent year on year to 37,902 units, data from the China Construction Machinery Association revealed.

   Domestic sales of this equipment declined 43.5 percent from the previous year to 38,341 units during the same period.

   In April alone, excavator exports came in at 9,259 units, rising 8.9 percent year on year.
