China’s Lenovo Launches Cyber Innovation Center At Lsraeli University

16771922107638 Chinese computer giant Lenovo has launched a cyber innovation center at Ben-Gurion University (BGU) in cooperation with the Israeli university, said a statement issued by BGU on Monday.

The center will focus on innovation based on the zero trust architecture, which protects every resource in the organization through verification instead of protecting only access to its network, according to the statement.

It will also develop next-generation security solutions, which will be integrated into ThinkShield, Lenovo’s portfolio of secure hardware, software and services, the statement said.

The center includes cyber experts from Lenovo and BGU’s Cyber Security Research Center.

“The center will allow us to create a global hub of innovation in the security field and direct access to world-leading experts,” said Nima Baiati, general manager of Commercial Cybersecurity Solutions at Lenovo.

“This way we can create even more secure products in all areas of our activity,” he added.
