BEIJING, June 5 (Xinhua) — China’s road logistics price index edged down last week, industry data showed.
The index came in at 1,023.84 points in the week ending June 2, dropping 0.21 percent over a week earlier, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin’an Logistics Group.
China’s road logistics demand was generally stable during the period, said the survey, attributing the price drop to the growth of supply.
The country’s road logistics price index is likely to continue to fluctuate in the future, it predicted.
