BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) — Chinese stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.85 percent to 3,461.5 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1 percent higher at 10,957.13 points.
