BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) — Chinese stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.08 percent to 2,976.3 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.86 percent higher at 8,877.02 points.
