BEIJING, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) — Chinese stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.24 percent to 2,848.73 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.11 percent lower at 8,103.76 points.
