BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — Chinese stocks closed mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.29 percent to 2,802.98 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.17 percent higher at 8,268.05 points.
