Chinese Shares Close Sharply Higher Monday

BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — Chinese stocks closed sharply higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index surging 8.06 percent to 3,336.5 points. The Shenzhen Component Index soared 10.67 percent to close at 10,529.76 points.
