Chinese Shares Open Higher Tuesday

BEIJING, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) — Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 10.13 percent to open at 3,674.4 points. The Shenzhen Component Index opened 12.67 percent higher at 11,864.11 points.
