The show, centered around the theme of Chinese poetry, classics and fashion, featured more than 50 sets of designs that conveyed the charm of Chinese culture to the audience.
“We are willing to work with Hainan to find a Chinese expression of fashion and bring it to the world,” said designer Grace Chen.
About 1,000 products from more than 40 brands from home and abroad will be launched during the fashion week, which is scheduled from April 10 to 15. Products from Chinese and international fashion brands and designers will be presented to the audience in four different venues.
The third CICPE kicked off on Monday in southern China’s island province of Hainan.
