China’s non-manufacturing sector continues to expand in August

16935651423755 BEIJING, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) — China’s non-manufacturing activity maintained expansion in August, with the purchasing managers’ index for the sector standing at 51, the National Bureau of Statistics said Thursday.

   A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below it reflects contraction.
